Masspresso, which operates AI (Artificial Intelligence)-based learning platform Qanda, completed Series C with a total of 77 billion won by attracting additional investment.
Signite Partners, Shinsegae Group’s venture capital (CVC), and YBM, South Korea’s leading education company, joined the investment as new investors. Existing investors Goodwater Capital, Softbank Ventures, and Mirae Asset Venture Investment also participated.
In particular, as YBM joins as a new investment company, the two companies plan to maximize synergy by utilizing their respective influence and know-how in the domestic middle and high education sectors.
Masspresso will focus on upgrading vertical services and strengthening profitability for personalized learning experiences.
Bunker Kids, which operates the health diet recommended delivery service MyShipDan, has attracted 2 billion won worth of Series A investment from Kakao Ventures, Spring Camp, and Rising S Ventures.
