WebTVAsia, one of Asia’s largest MCN companies, has attracted more than $30 million in investment from global creator company Jellysmack. In the future, the two companies will form a strategic partnership and collaborate to accelerate the growth of video creators in Asia.

Webtiviasia, which has led to Jelly’s Mac’s largest investment in Asia, has gained momentum in promoting its business in various fields such as building new studio spaces, launching products, and producing high-quality content in the future. In addition, the partnership will further strengthen support for Jelly’s Mac’s top global creators and achieve Webtiviasia’s goal of providing creators in the Asia-Pacific region with opportunities and resources to maximize the effect of content investment.

Webtiviasia CEO Fredcheng said, “The partnership with JellyMac will serve as a ‘game changer’ that will open up new possibilities for Web 2.0 and Web 3.0 worlds,” adding, “We will announce interesting and new creator tools and solutions such as content NFT, digital wallet, virtual identity for metaverse, fan community, and Web 2.5 monetization models between 6 and 12 months.”

Meanwhile, the partnership is part of a $500 million investment plan by JellyFi, a creator finance division newly established by Jellysmack to realize its dream of becoming a creator. Jelly Pie, a creator development solution, is a program that allows creators to analyze video performance using Jelly’s Mac’s unique algorithm, predict future profits, and calculate video value to receive financial options. Creators can focus on content planning and production by receiving funds in advance.

Jelly’s Mac has continued to expand its business since it succeeded in attracting Series C investment from Softbank last year, and this partnership is expected to rapidly expand its business in Asia.
