Wemade, the leader of the blockchain game, will be the main sponsor of Korea’s largest art fair this time. Wemade has been named three times as the title sponsor of various events held in Korea this year, including the Art Fair. The intention is to spare no investment in informing the public of the possibility of the blockchain, but it is a “concern” as it is not connected to the company’s related business performance right now.

According to related industries on the 31st, Wemade will participate as the lead sponsor of the nation’s largest art fair “Korea International Art Fair (KIAF) Seoul 2022.” Organized by the Korea Gallery Association, KIAF is Korea’s first and largest international art fair. The event will be held at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul from the 3rd to the 6th of next month, and this year’s new “KIAF Plus” will be held at SETEC in Yangjae-dong, Seoul from the 2nd to the 5th.

Wemade opens booths at all of its exhibition halls. The theme is “Expansion of a sound art ecosystem and evolution of life that NFT will lead.” “Kiaf Seoul” will display projects of the NFT platform “NILE,” which will be the mainstay of the WeMix ecosystem. On the 5th, Lee Mi-kyung, director of the NFT division of Wemade, will talk about the role and possibility of “art DAO (decentralized autonomous organization)” in the art market.

It has been known three times that Wemade has been the main sponsor of various events held in Korea this year. Prior to the art fair event, Wemade served as the main sponsor at Korea’s largest blockchain event KBW (Korea Blockchain Week) held at the Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas Hotel in Samseong-dong, Seoul last month, and will also sponsor the title at the nation’s largest game exhibition in November.
